It was another rest day yesterday. I managed to sleep in, sort of. And didn't even walk the dogs (Bandit needed a rest too). Watched the cycling highlights, ate some toast, drank more tea, generally pottered about. I read a short story ([[Gogol Nikolai|Gogol]]'s [[The Collected Tales of Nikolai Gogol|The Overcoat]]) and drank some more tea, then had a shower and put some pants on so I could take the mountain bike down to the bike shop for a service. When I got back from that I ate lunch (left over pasta and fresh muesli) and had a nap and slowly organised myself to head in to the city for opening night. And had another cup of tea. I woke up in a panic this morning when I remembered I'd forgotten to plug the Freedoms in to charge, so I wanted to be early enough to put them on for an hour before the show. But otherwise it went well! I was a bit late on one sound cue (just completely zoned out :-/) but mostly it was good. Everyone seemed happy. Catching the train was somewhat more relaxing than driving, if a little slower, so I got home a bit after 11 and watched the bike race for a bit. But not until the end. Now sitting with some dogs who are patiently waiting to go for a walk. I suppose I should put some shoes on.
